Report: Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz Selling Wedding Photos

Singer Ashlee Simpson and rocker fiancé Pete Wentz may be receiving incentives that could pay for their wedding. TMZ.com cites as source close to the recently-engaged couple who says Simpson and Wentz plan to sell their wedding pictures for more than one-million-dollars to "People" magazine. A rep for "People" refused to discuss specific details about the alleged deal due to company policy, but has stated, quote, "we're thrilled that celebrities continue to choose 'People' as the place to share their most intimate photos." Last weekend, "Entertainment Tonight" quoted sources who said the couple would tie the knot this Saturday, May 17th at a private residence in Los Angeles. Simpson and Wentz have been romantically linked since fall 2006, and became engaged last month.

Report: Jessica Simpson, Tony Romo Split Up Despite Rep Denial

Despite statements from Jessica Simpson's rep saying there is "no truth" to breakup rumors circling the singer and NFL star Tony Romo, the "Dallas Morning News" reports the rumors may be legit. Two people close to the couple claim they are indeed broken up, and that Tony was seen in Chicago over the weekend saying he and Jessica were "done." Photos of the Dallas Cowboy quarterback getting to know a mystery blonde in Chicago have popped up on PerezHilton.com. According to "Us Magazine," a source close to the mystery woman says she is a recent Michigan State grad and former sorority girl. Simpson and Romo began dating last November.

Actor Reveals Angelina Jolie's Due Date

While Angelina Jolie has kept tight-lipped about her latest pregnancy, her famous friends are apparently not as good at keeping secrets. First, actor Jack Black accidentally revealed that Jolie and her partner, actor Brad Pitt, are expecting twins. Now, NBC "Today" show reporter Natalie Morales shared on yesterday morning's program that actor Dustin Hoffman told her that the new additions are due on August 19th. Jolie and Pitt already have three adopted children and one biological child together. Jolie told "Today" during an interview this week that, quote, "unlike most women, I love being pregnant," adding, "you feel more like a woman than you've ever felt." The actress also shared that she and Pitt would like to keep the gender of the twins, quote, "private."

Report: Britney Spears, Mel Gibson Headed To Costa Rica

Pop star Britney Spears and Oscar-winner Mel Gibson have become unlikely travel buddies. According to "Entertainment Tonight," the duo, as well as Spears' father Jamie, boarded a private plane together yesterday morning and were headed to Costa Rica. Gibson is apparently hosting Britney and her dad at his 400-acre ranch in Central America. This is not the first encounter involving Spears and Gibson. In March, the pop star reportedly had dinner with the actor-director at a restaurant in Studio City, California. Spears, who has two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, recently received expanded visitation rights with the boys. She lost custody of the children to Federline early this year.

Country Singer Shania Twain & Husband Separating

Country star Shania Twain and her husband have split. A rep for the singer tells "People" magazine that Twain and music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, are, quote, "separating." The rep adds, "This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time." Forty-two-year-old Twain, whose birth name is Eilleen Regina Edwards, and 59-year-old Lange married in December 1993. They have one child together, son Eja [[ Asia ]], who turns seven in August. Twain is a five-time Grammy winner and has sold more than 65-million-albums worldwide. Lange's credits include co-writing the Bryan Adams songs "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" and "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?"

Private Eye Pellicano Guilty Of Racketeering

Former Hollywood private investigator Anthony Pellicano and two of his associates have been found guilty on federal charges of racketeering. The 64-year-old stood trial for allegedly using his office to dig up dirt on people for his clients by using wiretaps and other illegal electronic surveillance techniques. The jury found that he and the two associates did in fact conspire together to run a criminal enterprise. During the trial Pellicano acted as his own lawyer as each defendant faced 79 federal counts. A total of 14 people were ultimately charged in the case filed in 2006. Most already having plead guilty to charges that ranged from perjury to conspiracy.

Jury Set In R. Kelly Trial

The Chicago jury that will decide the fate of R. Kelly in his child pornography trial is now set. The 41-year-old R&B entertainer is charged with 14 counts of child pornography for allegedly making a sex tape with an underage girl. Lawyers from both sides agreed on four more jurors yesterday, making the required total of 12. Two alternates also have been selected.

Rapper DMX Arraigned On Several Counts

Rapper DMX was arraigned on drug charges in Phoenix, Arizona yesterday. A court commissioner entered a not guilty plea for the rapper, who appeared in court an hour late. DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arraigned on three felony drug charges which include two counts of possession of marijuana and one count for drug paraphernalia. The rapper also faces one count of animal cruelty, but was not arraigned on that charge. In August, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office raided Simmons' home in a Phoenix suburb. Officers removed 12 malnourished pit bulls and found the remains of three others, along with drugs in the residence.

Madonna's Adoption Hearing Delayed

Madonna's final hearing on the adoption of her two-year-old son David Banda has been postponed again. The pop icon's attorney said yesterday that the judge at Malawi's High Court decided to reserve his ruling on the case until sometime next week because he has to review the recommendations from the Malawi Human Rights Commission on the adoption laws of Malawi. The Human Rights Commission is set up by the government. Its position on the adoption has not been made public. The child has been living with Madonna, her two other children and her husband, film director Guy Richie, in London for about a year and a half. The final adoption hearing was previously postponed because Madonna had work commitments.

Former Couple Grant, Hurley Win Tabloid Damages

Actor Hugh Grant and his former girlfriend have won their invasion-of-privacy case. According to E! Online, Grant and model Elizabeth Hurley, with whom he remains close friends, as well as her husband, Arun Nayar, will be paid nearly 113-thousand-dollars in damages from two paparazzi agencies who took photos of the three while they were on vacation in the Maldives last year. Pics were also taken and sold of Hurley's young son from her previous relationship with Steve Bing. Grant, Hurley and Nayar reportedly plan to donate their winnings to a cancer charity. The trio has also accepted public apologies from the agencies. Hurley and Nayar wed last March.

Anne Heche Says She Can't Afford Child, Spousal Support Anymore

Actress Anne Heche has been granted a break from making child and spousal support payments to her ex. In court papers obtained by "People," the former "Men In Trees" star claims that she can no longer afford to pay Coley Laffoon nearly 15-thousand-dollars a month because her show has been cancelled. Heche claims she has been unemployed since January and while she is looking for work, she has, quote, "no offers pending." The judge presiding over the matter says Heche doesn't have to make the next support payment, but must provide the court with updated expense and income information. Heche and Laffoon split early least year after five years in marriage. They have one son together. She is now involved with former "Men In Trees" co-star James Tupper.

Report: "O.C." Alum Kelly Rowan Splits With Wealthy Fiance

Former "The O.C." star Kelly Rowan has reportedly split from her billionaire fiancé. According to the "New York Daily News," the 43-year-old actress and David Thomson have called it quits just weeks after the April 28th birth of their daughter. Thomson, a media mogul, is Canada's richest man and one of the wealthiest people in the world. He is also the divorced father of three. Thomson and Rowan had been together since 2006. Rowan, a native of Canada, played Kirsten Cohen on the former Fox series "The O.C." The show bowed last February after four seasons on the air. She also starred in and produced "In God's Country," a movie for Lifetime.

New Kids To Perform On Today's "Today"

The recently reunited New Kids on the Block will have their first performance together in about 15 years this morning. The boy band will take the stage live on NBC's "Today." The New Kids released their new single "Summertime" this week. They are also working on a new album that they plan to release this fall. The boy band will kick off a concert tour September 20th in Montreal. Other dates thus far include Toronto; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Uniondale, New York; Boston; Atlantic City and Chicago. The New Kids on the Block are made up of Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight and Danny Wood. Formed in 1984, the group sold more than 50-million albums before splitting up in 1994.

BET Unveils Nominees For 2008 BET Awards

The nominations are out for the 2008 BET Awards. Leading the list of nominees this year is hip-hop singer and producer T-Pain whose collaborations with some of hip-hop's biggest artists helped him to five nominations. Kanye West and Keyshia Cole are both up for three awards, while Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Flo Rida received two nods each. Nominees for Best Actress include Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Jill Scott and Chandra Wilson of "Grey's Anatomy." The nominees for Best Actor include Anthony Anderson, Don Cheadle, Idris Elba, Terrence Howard and Denzel Washington. The BET Awards recognize the achievements of artists, entertainers and athletes in 15 categories. Special Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to Al Green and Quincy Jones. Mary J. Blige, Usher and Lil' Wayne are expected to be among the performers. The 2008 BET Awards will be presented June 24th at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles during a live telecast on BET.

ACM Awards Sunday On CBS

The country music world is gearing up for this year's Academy of Country Music Awards. Leading nominees for the event set for Sunday is singer Kenny Chesney with 12, followed by Rodney Adkins with six, and Brad Paisley, Big and Rich and Sugarland with four a piece. ACM performers will include Toby Keith, LeAnn Rimes, "American Idol" alums Kellie Pickler and Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks, among others. The 43rd annual ACM Awards will air live on CBS from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8:00 p.m. Eastern this Sunday, May 18th. ACM Award-winner and country legend Reba McEntire will return for the tenth time to host the event.

"SNL's" Season Finale To Feature Steve Carell, Usher

"Saturday Night Live" will wrap up its 33rd season this weekend. The live finale episode will feature "The Office" actor and star of the new film "Get Smart," Steve Carell as host. R&B singer Usher is the musical guest. "SNL" has made somewhat of a resurgence this year, thanks to its sketches spoofing the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Castmember Kenan Thompson says the attention the show has received has been unexpected and is just a byproduct of the good work they always try to do. Thompson also joked that it would be great if the presidential election happened every year instead of every four years, so "SNL" could have regular fodder for its sketches. "Saturday Night Live's" season finale episode airs tomorrow night at approximately 11:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC.

Fox Releases 2008-09 Primetime Schedule

Fox has rolled out its primetime television schedule for the next season. Among the new additions will be two dramas, three comedies and one unscripted series. One of the dramas will be "Fringe," by "Lost" creator J.J. Abrams. The show will star Joshua Jackson as one of three people who uncover a deadly mystery with a science fiction element to it. The new comedy "Do Not Disturb" will feature Jerry O'Connell as a member of the staff at a New York City hotel. Fox's midseason schedule will feature the return of mega-hit "American Idol." Producers plan to reduce "Idol's" results show from one hour to a half-hour in length. Another midseason addition will be the reality show "Secret Millionaire," featuring real-life millionaires who go undercover to help the less fortunate.

Final "Montel Williams Show" To Air Today

It's the end of an era. After 17 years on the air, "The Montel Williams Show" is coming to an end. The series finale of the syndicated talk-show airs today with a special grand finale featuring guests from the show's past years. However, while today's show is being billed as "Montel's" swan song, host Montel Williams says that's not exactly the case. Williams says new episodes of "Montel" will air for quite some time before the show disappears from the airwaves.
Montel Williams received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host in 1996. The 51-year-old says he has a number of projects in the works for his post-talk show career. He's turning his eye toward Hollywood with the goal of becoming a producer and talent manager through his own talent management agency.

Public voting at the site from June 15th to July 6th will determine the top ten finalists. The grand prize is 15-thousand-dollars in Gretsch drums and guitars.
