Jackson Will Filed, Leaves All To Trust

Michael Jackson's will has been filed with a Los Angeles court. The five-page document leaves everything to the Michael Jackson Family Trust and excludes Jackson's former wife, Deborah Rowe. It names Jackson's mother Katherine as guardian of his three children and nominates singer Diana Ross as an alternate if Jackson's mother is unable to serve in the role. A petition filed with the will states Jackson's estate is worth more than 500-million dollars. The document says most of the estate consists of "non-cash, non-liquid assets," mentioning Jackson's interest in a music catalogue. Former Jackson attorney John Branca, music executive John McClain and accountant Barry Siegel were named as co-executors. Siegel resigned from his role in 2003.

Woman Files Petition To Claim Michael Jackson's Assets, Children

A woman who claims she was secretly married to Michael Jackson is filing a petition to access to all of the pop star's assets. TMZ.com says the London-based woman, identified as Nona Paris Lola Ankhesenamun Jackson, is demanding that all of her "husband's" "properties, monies and assets" be transferred to her immediately and that her "husband's" body be returned to coroner or mortuary immediately. In the petition, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Nona also claims that she is the mother of all of Michael Jackson's children and that she did not give authorization for them to live with Jackson's mother Katherine Jackson. There is no evidence that the woman has any connection to Jackson. TMZ says, however, that she has had an active court case since December of last year, claiming she was married to the pop star.

The statement says plans for a public memorial for the King of Pop will be announced soon. Any notion of a Neverland Ranch burial for Jackson has also been ruled out. The "Los Angeles Times" cites a source close to the situation that says Santa Barbara County officials couldn't find a way to get around legal restrictions on burials at private residences. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger reportedly offered to help work around state regulations. The "Times" source said, quote, "everybody in Santa Barbara feels bad about it." There had been concerns about large numbers of cars driving on a narrow mountain road to reach the late pop star's retreat.

According to TMZ, Audigier, who was a close friend of the pop star's will be leasing the mansion from Ed Hardy CEO Hubert Guez, who owns the estate.
