The body of a man Henrico County police described as "missing and endangered" was found yesterday in Powhatan County. 46-year-old John Michael Tyler was seen leaving the area of Three Chopt Road near Pemberton Road on April 4th. He was driving a gray Infiniti sedan.
On April 7th, in a media advisory, Henrico County Police asked the public for assistance locating Tyler.
Last night, just before 7:00, the Powhatan County Sheriff's Office located Tyler's body behind the Shiloh Baptist Church on Monte Road in Powhatan. Tyler's body was transported to the state Medical Examiner's Office for a cause of death determination.
Police have not said if Tyler's remains showed obvious signs of trauma and Henrico Police have not elaborated as to why Tyler was considered "endangered."
