Get this -- nail salons are now charging more for a manicure if you're overweight! Natural Nails in Georgia began the trend by adding a $5 fee to mani/pedis when they believe the customer is overweight. Salon manager Kim Tran defended her salon's surcharge by saying:

"The extra cost is due to repairs that must be made to broken chairs from overweight customers. The chairs have a weight capacity of 200 pounds and cost $2500 to fix."
