The body of a man Henrico County police described as "missing and endangered" was found yesterday in Powhatan County.  46-year-old John Michael Tyler was seen leaving the area of Three Chopt Road near Pemberton Road on April 4th.  He was driving a gray Infiniti sedan. 

On April 7th, in a media advisory, Henrico County Police asked the public for assistance locating Tyler. 

Last night, just before 7:00, the Powhatan County Sheriff's Office located Tyler's body behind the Shiloh Baptist Church on Monte Road in Powhatan.  Tyler's body was transported to the state Medical Examiner's Office for a cause of death determination. 

Police have not said if Tyler's remains showed obvious signs of trauma and Henrico Police have not elaborated as to why Tyler was considered "endangered."     

Missing VCU student Jonny Dorey's home university, The University of the West of England, has added an additional $5,000 reward for information leading to Dorey's location, VCU Police announced today, bringing the total reward to $10,000. 

VCU Police today also released two new photos showing Dorey with his mountain bike as he left the Gladding Residence Center on March 2nd.

VCU Police Captain Grant Warren said the photos were captured by a security camera outside the residence center.

Police also released a new "missing person" poster assembled by Dorey's family. 

Police say they have no reason to suspect foul play in Dorey's disappearance, but would like to speak with anyone who has seen Dorey.

Dorey is 6 feet tall, weighs 180 pounds, has brown hair and speaks with a British accent.  He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a blue and white plaid jacket with a hood and dark blue jeans. 

VCU Police are searching for 22-year-old Jonathan S. Dorey.  Dorey was last seen on the VCU campus March 2nd.  He was wearing a blue and white plaid jacket with a hood and dark blue jeans.  When last seen, Dorey was riding a black mountain bike.  The bike's seat is black with a distinctive red stripe.

Jonathan Dorey is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds and has brown hair.  He speaks with a British accent and wears glasses.

VCU Police Captain Grant Warren said Tuesday, "VCU Police Department is still putting forth a concerted effort to find any information or indication of where Jonny Dorey may have gone, where he may be or where his bike might be.  So anybody with information can call us at 828-1196.  There's still no indication of any kind of foul play.  We're following up on numerous leads and other avenues and expanding our search." 

VCU Police say they have no reason to suspect foul play is involved in the student's disappearance, but they would like to talk with anyone who has seen Dorey.  If you have seen Dorey, call VCU Police Communications at (804) 828-1196.
